Guys, I am such a Foodie! Everywhere I travel I seek out farm to table type restaurants. This restaurant did not disappoint! I so appreciate quality ingredients that lead to succulent dishes that are memorable. For starters, the complimentary bread was fresh, soft and delicious. My main entrée was the duck confit...crispy skin, seasoned perfectly on a bed of cooked spinach and mashed potatoes with a demi reduction. Superb! The restaurant is tucked away in what looks like a residential type neighborhood. The ambiance is lovely and intimate with quaint wooden tables and soft lighting. The service was friendly, courteous and worth every penny spent. It was a treat to converse with one of the chefs who provided the history of the restaurant from their humble beginnings, surviving COVID, to where they are now. I'm happy to add this restaurant to my list of favorites next time I travel to Sacramento.

Adding a review because tried 3 new dishes and want to shout out compliments as we had special requests that we had made when we called in for Reservations and all were granted plus some! The new items we tried were the Fall risotto with added scallops. This dish is just unbelievably tasty! Also, the schnitzel, which has been on the menu before was never a top choice of mine, but I tried a bite of my dining partner's, and it was so good. Lastly, the shank was absolutely delicious. With a chocolate flavor to the sauce I just couldn't pass this up! They're a little busy with holiday and legislative parties and the service staff spends much time mixing cocktails, which slows service, but the ambience of this place is so charming, a bit of extra time to enjoy is just fine. What a gem!

Great experience! Everything we ordered tasted great. Duck confit was delicious, they did a good job making it tasty. Love the rich nonfat texture, pumpkin purée was wonderful! Clam chowder was also good, creamy, no flour added, with right amount of baby clams. Short rib beef, big size, juicy, nice veggies. The desserts are all good! Excellent service, our guy Benjamin did a fantastic job, he greeted us at the door, opened the door, walked us to our table, pulled the chairs, told us the specials, made us feel welcomed and cared. We also enjoyed petting the cute dog! And the price is very good for the good quality and excellent service.
